Finding your way around the site
On the left hand side of every page is a green menu which lists the section you are in and the pages within that section. These links can be clicked on to view information.
To assist you with moving back and forth between the pages there is a "breadcrumb" trail at the top of each page; this starts with 'Home page' and lets you see the path you have followed to reach your destination. It can be used to revisit any of the previous pages.

There are several ways that you can find information on this website:
The home page
This is the starting point of any website, and a good place to begin browsing the site for information.
The web address (called URL) of Wheathampstead Parish is www.wheathampstead-pc.gov.uk and when you click on this web address, it is the homepage that will display on your screen.
Once you start to look at different parts of the site, if you want to return to the homepage, just click on the word 'Home' at the top right of any page, or click on the Parish Council logo in the top left hand corner.
Search
Use the search box to type in your own word(s) and carry out a search for the word(s) on the website. The search box can be found on the top of the left column of every page.
The search page will allow a user to search this website for web pages and download documents. When undertaking a search, it is best to use one or two key words rather than a long sentence.
