Wheathampstead Parish Council is comprised of twelve councillors elected every four years. The next election is in May 2015. The council is supported by one full-time member of staff (Julia Warren, the Clerk) and two part-time members (Louise Harrison, Deputy Clerk, and Richard Dolling, Caretaker). By following the items in the "Your Council" menu above you can obtain information on all aspects of the council including its business plan, committee structure, minutes and agendas. The council also works closely with the community to form working groups to manage projects. These Working Groups are comprised of councillors and non-councillors. You can also find information on regular events, such as Village Weekend, copies of our newsletters and reference documents.

Full Council meets on the last Thursday of every month (except December) at 7.30pm in the Hewitt Room at the Memorial Hall.  Everyone is welcome.
